IntenseBlizzard2014
September might roast. I remember reading that several Strong El Nino Septembers bring very hot weather.

donsutherland1
LOVE Fall!!! cfs (cant forecast s***) has a cold September. A chilly fall is definitely within the realm of possibility given the strengthening El Niño. Whether a cool fall yields to a warm winter remains to be seen. A lot will depend on what happens in ENSO Region 1+2.

mitchnick
CFS2 is indicating a dry late summer/early fall along the east coast (through September), which is what happened in 72/73 & 82/83. Things change come October-November though.
Juliancolton
I predict, per overwhelming historical precedence: lackluster foliage, overpriced pumpkin spice-flavored foodstuffs, and Christmas music beginning on Halloween +/- 1 week.
