Blizzard92
Bands of heavy rain certainly look to roll through the LSV today; we have already 0.3" of rain here in Linglestown. Given today's anomalous moisture flux, I would expect isolated locations to receive 3+ inches of rain across eastern Pennsylvania.

canderson
Yeah, we need this rain. Hope the band forms continue so it rains, has time to soak, then rains again.

Blizzard92
CTP just issued a near-term flash flood watch for the eastern LSV until midnight. One more round of convection and heavy rain is likely later today.

Blizzard92
Round 2 moving through the Susquehanna Valley. It will probably increase the urban and small stream flooding once again along the Carlisle-Gettysburg corridor as those cells continue to strengthen in this moist environment. MillvilleWx
Got absolutely creamed on my way back from work yesterday. Couldn't see out my wind shield type rain. Everyone doing 5 mph on I70. A CG strike inside 100' from my car scared the heck out of me. And not to be out done, a temp drop 92 on I70 near Frederick to 72 in 2 minutes. Car thermometer dropping 3 degrees at a time at one point. I've never seen that before. Absolutely gorgeous out this morning!!

Gorgeous out here lately. Love stepping outside in the mornings. Same, Zak. Hope things start looking up for you. It's been just a bit cool for me during the day, but not having to use any AC and having the windows open has been nice. I'm pretty sure we will be able to crack 90° here in Bellefonte at least 1-2 times Sunday-Thursday. I'll be enjoying that. September and October are two months where I really like positive departures.
