canderson
Maybe in New England, torch from 41N and south.... I've not seen much to indicate a torch? El Nino's by all accounts by mets in this thread are decent for us, not prologned cold but moisture hits with cold surges. BTW the slightest hint of coolness in the air this morning. I'll never get used to here and Augusts that transition pretty quickly to fall.

canderson
Question: Last night there was a 80 percent chance of rain Thursday night and all day Friday. Today, no chances of rain at all. What is the deal?
Santa Clause
Idk, tbh it seems like a lot of the storms/rain days disappear the closer they get. Imagine if that happened in winter lol.
Eskimo Joe
i'll remind you of this in February when you have frozen snot bubbles on a 2nd alarmer I'd give my manhood for a repeat of 09-10 with colder temps.

Give me 50-100 miles further north and you got a deal... 55 for the low this morning. Missed being able to run with the fan.

Eskimo Joe
Felt a nice cool twinge in the air while getting into the car at 4:30 this morning. Hopefully we can capitalize on the El Nino this winter.

Eskimo Joe
You posted last week that El Nino would bring us a winter torch? Like all Eskimos I love snow, but a strong El Nino is no bueno. Plus the past two winters were decent so it's only logical to expect a fail.
heavy_wx
Saw a few nice streaks associated with the Perseids tonight. Should still be going on through the night with mostly clear skies in central PA.
