hrtsdsn
I got nailed yesterday in Stanfield, NC around 5:30 pm. Huge oak tree fell on my house (we're ok) and two other huge trees had big branches that appeared twisted off. The radar close to that time showed the storm curling around my area. It was scary! calculus1
yotaman, you're winning the prize for most July rainfall on this board. Almost 8 inches of rainfall would be sorely appreciated over here in these parts.

No snow for you
Storms firing up along the NC/SC line in the Upstate. Let's see if they come over the mountains or not.
sparklecity
Storms firing up along the NC/SC line in the Upstate. Let's see if they come over the mountains or not. Figures the storms fire one county away. Always on the outside looking in besides the only two weeks we had decent rain this spring and summer. calculus1
Lots of rainfall here at work, but the trajectory is such that MBY will be missed. We shall all commiserate together for the missed opportunities...
sparklecity
I am so fricking sick and tired of seeing storms slide south of me. I'm sure KSPA will rack up on the rain again today. Already have the sprinkler running because I know it won't rain here.

sparklecity
You would think at some point things would average out and I would get a pulse storm on top of me, but somehow mby never has them. We could have these type of storms for a 100 days straight and I would never have one.
Solak
I'm watching a few little showers around Wake Co. using Composite Radar. It gives me a better false sense of security that one may wander down this way

sparklecity
Looks like Spartanburg Country may be the only county without anything decent today in the upstate. Amazing how these pulse storms form all around Spartanburg, and even the ones that do pop up are smaller, weaker, and shorter lasting than the ones in every other county. sparklecity
lol bumped up to 60% this evening as soon as everything is moving away and falling apart. Not that it was every close to raining here to begin with.
