moneypitmike
Temp only managed to dip to 64.5 overnight. A fan and two-blanket combo, ftw. We'll see how today goes. After a couple hours in the low 80's yesterday, we dropped back into the mid-70's (low 70's for a while around 2:30) for the remainder of the day. Helluva way to start the stretch of excessive warmth. Today will be warmer. I don't know about 90--we'll see. 66.7/

CapturedNature
Yeah it was a real bummer having to turn the AC off. I wish it could've been on all night. I've become a real heat wimp and require 50s to turn the AC off. On the other hand, my AC has a dehumidifier mode which is nice to keep the humidity down. HIPPYVALLEY
63F for the low, up to 72 now. House cooled off nicely overnight but may finally have to use an AC for the first time all summer! Was in Canada past 10 days and me thinks I may have missed a few AC days.

HIPPYVALLEY
Welcome back--hope you enjoyed the maritimes. Despite the clouds and cool temps it was great. PEI is awesome, I'll get pics in the banter thread later.
backedgeapproaching
62.3 Glad I live here dipped to 61 here. These "heatwaves" are funny up here in NE (comparatively speaking to where I grew up) Sleeping comfortably at night with a window fan during this brutal stretch of lows near 60 every night. Days have been warm though--mid-upper 80s, but dews not unbearable.
powderfreak
Yeah it was a real bummer having to turn the AC off. I wish it could've been on all night. Ha! Reminds me of his posts about wanting it to be warmer in April so he can save energy and not have to run the heat in the spring. But has no problem going full bore AC 24/7 all summer. CoastalWx
I'll take the over. The only reason why it could fail is because of mid level clouds, but more often than not..models underestimate those airmasses ahead of CF.
