@ryanhanrahan: High today at BDL was 93F. Day 1 of what we're expecting to be the first heat wave of 2015. #FirstAlertCT

The first heat wave ....at the peak of summer.  That's unusual.

mid upper 80s in our hood, congrats city dwellers

88º here.  Ties with the high back in May.

Temp only managed to dip to 64.5 overnight.  A fan and two-blanket combo, ftw.

We'll see how today goes.  After a couple hours in the low 80's yesterday, we dropped back into the mid-70's (low 70's for a while around 2:30) for the remainder of the day.  Helluva way to start the stretch of excessive warmth.  Today will be warmer.  I don't know about 90--we'll see.

66.7/62

Glad I live here

dipped to 61 here.  These "heatwaves" are funny up here in NE (comparatively speaking to where I grew up) Sleeping comfortably at night with a window fan during this brutal stretch of lows near 60 every night.

Days have been warm though--mid-upper 80s, but dews not unbearable.

Yeah it was a real bummer having to turn the AC off. I wish it could've been on all night.

Ha! Reminds me of his posts about wanting it to be warmer in April so he can save energy and not have to run the heat in the spring. But has no problem going full bore AC 24/7 all summer.
