CanadianGuy
84/61 at the airport, 88/63/89 imby, 90/65/92 downtown. It was a perfect summer day earlier but it's getting pretty hot this aft. Tuesday and Wednesday are forecast to be more muggy, with highs in the low 90s. No relief until Thursday.
AppsRunner
Wonder if the lake has anything to do with TOL not getting to 90. Stuck in the mid 80s with an east wind today, but it's better than rain.
cyclone77
87/71 here. Pretty muggy with little to no breeze. Shouldn't get too much warmer though, as clouds are moving in from the MCS that's crapping the bed in Iowa.
wisconsinwx
Similar to Alek, lake breeze keeping things easier to tolerate. I want no part of Cape Girardeau's 90/80 reading.

Stebo
The 89 capital of the Midwest. Only made 86 in The Fort. Pretty much, although I knew today had a chance to under perform with an Easterly wind. Many places north or further from the water hit 90.
josh_4184
Hit 91 at my house for the first time in almost 3 years as well, finally caved and turned the central A/C on.
hawkeye_wx
The July rainfall deficit from northern Iowa down to Cedar Rapids is quickly fading. Several locations got 1+ inches of rain a couple days ago, now this morning many areas are receiving more heavy rain. I got 0.94" from a surprise warm advection wing of storms first thing this morning and now another strong line of storms is moving in. If this next batch can clear out we may get another strong line later this evening.
daddylonglegs
Rain rain rain.... today was suppose to be the hot day here..have my doubts unless we clear out by lunch or so... July should end about normal for rainfall totals with today...
AppsRunner
Pretty much, although I knew today had a chance to under perform with an Easterly wind. Many places north or further from the water hit 90. KTOL barely managed a peak of 86, which I think may be it's favorite number to hit besides

hawkeye_wx
The second line of storms today poofed out as it moved through CR, but it still managed to boost my daily total to 1.21". It's unclear how the rest of the day will play out. All the instability is in southern Iowa. We've been stuck in the 70s all day.
