CT Rain
This is actually really freaking cool Yeah we're playing around with our volume rendering tool more at work. Our digital met made that this morning.
backedgeapproaching
My dog took a nice bite out of a mushroom the other day and I cringed Honestly there a lot of different kind of mushrooms that can pop up in yards, some can cause problems and some don't. Just have to watch you dog to see if he/she has vomiting, diarrhea, etc.
CT Rain
GFS mixes dew points out this afternoon across SNE - probably would mean no additional storms.
CT Rain
Take a look at the video posted on WCAU's Facebook page - 3 or 4 posts down. Is there any question this thing was a tornado? https://www.facebook.com/NBC10Weather?fref=ts

CT Rain
Nice. Looks like it. I saw the Philadelphia media is going on and on about "was it a tornado" - IMO the evidence is pretty clear from that video that it was.

Pretty good in the warm season...You don't want it too wet, although I know you have a wet fetish.

Maybe they need to call the NWS too? Boston media would have said "We need to wait until a survey is done."

CoastalWx
I don't hate that sounding for 6 p.m. at HFD today off the NAM I guess the question is drying. I think the risk of drying out a bit aloft is near the south coast on srn end of vortmax moving northeast, Seems like HFD-BOS or so on north has best shot...maybe nrn MA into srn VT and NH best places? dendrite
You seem to be getting unexpectedly good rain rates considering radar isn't very impressive. It wasn't until the last hour or two. Dualpol has 0.50-1.00"/hr rates with that.

Yeah - I agree with that. Two possible issues - one is the low level moisture mixing out if winds veer and a second is dyring out too much in the 850-700mb layer. Two possible issues - one is the low level moisture mixing out if winds veer and a second is dyring out too much in the 850-700mb layer. And you also have cooling aloft to at least offset some negative issues I guess. It will be a race..probably some storms I would guess..just not sure how widespread. I could see a good round though in wrn MA into SNH.

moneypitmike
Breatks of sun now at the Pit. Maybe it will dry things off a bit. At least enough to dry off a chaise would be good. 67.3/
