If some past El Niño summers with very warm ENSO Region 1+2 anomalies are representative, the following kind of outcome would be plausible: July 16-31: 3-5 90° days (consistent with modeling) August: 1°-2° below normal 1-3 90° days 10 or more days with high temperatures less than 80° (most during the 2nd half of the month) It will be interesting to see how August 2015 turns out.
