The National Weather Service in Sterling Virginia has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...

northern Anne Arundel County in central Maryland...

north central Prince Georges County in central Maryland...

* until 800 PM EDT

* at 504 PM EDT... Doppler radar indicated a thunderstorm producing

heavy rain across the area. Up to two inches of rain have already

fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

Seems like the Eastern Half of Baltimore County, Baltimore City, and Northern Anne Arundel Counties have gotten hit hardest. Lot of pictures coming out from Perry Hall and Linthicum respectively. I assume my basement at home is really bad. It's quite bad in Bel Air too.

Nearly 2" on the day so far.  Rain has about stopped for now.  Was absolutely deluging while we were in the theater seeing Inside Out (good movie BTW).

Agree! Saw it last night and it was definitely better than I thought it would be. 

Meanwhile - on SPC mesoanalysis you can see some CAPE getting pulled north ahead of the low to the west. Maybe...
