Bob Chill
Weird storm here. Good wind in the outflow but lost it's punch as the rain moved in. Barely any lightning and now just rain.

gymengineer
Weird storm here. Good wind in the outflow but lost it's punch as the rain moved in. Barely any lightning and now just rain. The winds picked back up dramatically here when the more west-to-east component of the storm reached here a couple of minutes ago vs. the N-S earlier. MN Transplant
Per the tdwrs there should be some pretty good wind at the 495 bridge now.
hosj III
This will make 5-6" of rain in the last week.
Mrs.J
Anyone from Montgomery County with damage or wind obs...please PM me. Made the mistake of telling my husband to come home 28. He has had to detour several times for downed trees and power lines. Said it is bad around Darnestown.
RIC_WX
.65", decent winds, lightning and close to 10 minutes of hail. Areas to my SE will do better as per usual it seems. 5.4" for the month, nice reversal from May. Looks like more to come. Only hit 94 on the PWS, but see JYO put up a 97* ob. Must have been for a few minutes when the sun fully came out. Could have been so much hotter today with less high cloud cover.
MN Transplant
Amazing at how dramatically the sky brightens before it opens up.

09-10 analogy
Great looking storm. The contrast between it and the still clear skies to the south and southwest was beautiful. Winds are decent, maybe 40+ but certainly nothing like they're getting just to the north. Outflow took a few minutes to move through and must have dropped the temperatures 15 degrees or so. Not many ground strokes so far but that may be back-loaded like they often are.
EastCoast NPZ
Just got pitched a complete shut-out, a no-no even.

09-10 analogy
Not nearly the electrical activity as Saturday. Pouring now though. Saturday's storm seemed more ominous. But I got a better look at this one coming in. I'm leery of getting up on Fort Reno hill with nothing around but an electric fence when there's CG close by. 87storms
Solid 8/10 storm here for these parts though probably a shmaverage in Florida. Not too much wind. A lot of rain. Good amount of lightning. Actually very Florida like storm.
NinjaWarrior2
1.70" here so far, still going. About 9.50" on the month.
smokeybandit
Not nearly the event here that others are getting. Some nice T&L, but not much wind, no hail, less than 3/4" rain so far. Not sure there's an inch to get.
