snywx
November 26-27th storm if I recall correctly had a rain/snow line. Elevation also played a role. But, yea I would enjoy a few storms where we get 6-12 inches and the coastal plain gets rain Hoping El Nino delivers a good 18-24 inch storm. Well early season events usually are elevation dependent but im talking about a mid winter storm. When you see Riverhead coming in with 12"+ totals then you know we have problems lol.. That storm delivered an average 8-12" across our region with T-2" for those along the coast.

If all went to plan last year, I would have exceeded 100 inches.
Guest Patrick
That storm delivered an average 8-12" across our region with T-2" for those along the coast. That was an absolute beauty. Aside from the power outages, I would take that again any day.

Power outages weren't as bad as the 2011 Halloween storm. Now that was a beauty! 12-18" of wet paste in October!

Rjay
Just like the "good old days" I just root for us all to get crushed but I'm really feeling like this is the type of winter where the NW burbs really cash in as my area has rain issues at times. snywx
02-03 was the last winter I remember up here where it just wanted to snow. Nothing could go wrong! I was living in Highland Mills at the time and we finished with 96" for the winter. Snowiest I've had up here in the last 15 years thats for sure.
