nzucker
Why are there so few storms despite favorable parameters? Cap?
LongBeachSurfFreak
Man this is tourture. Watched that decent cell miss to the north now afraid we miss to the south here in upper Manhattan. This wasn't a bust by the way. I bet there was legit severe in that cell. IMb to the max going on
winterwarlock
Those storms in Harrisburgh seem to have a southeasterly shift not northeast..I could see a stray shower developing along the line to nyc but that heavy stuff in Harrisburg not coming
SnoSki14
This stuff is laughable compared to what the plains or southeast gets. The stuff moving east from PA isn't even severe, just looks like some heavy showers with a few rumbles of thunder.
IsentropicLift
I think everyone is done North of the city outside from an isolated storm. The stuff down in PA should hit Central and Southern NJ.
mob1
There are storms now going up NW of that main line, pretty quickly too, maybe the cap was finally eroded.
Big Jims Videos
Some good rotation near York. There's a lot of energy for those storms to tap into.

Either way I agree that it will go South of most of us.

None of us really care about the storms in and around Harrisburg... its what comes of north of that... which have storms popping up now. I am sure that the SPC would not have extended the watch til 9pm if they did not think it was necessary.
mob1
None of us really care about the storms in and around Harrisburg... its what comes of north of that... which have storms popping up now.2 of them exploded quickly, if the cap has indeed eroded maybe we'll see that congeal into a solid line as well. I am not talking about the Northeast.. There is NOTHING severe to the west or North of allentown IN PA...sorry.... there is some heavier showers and maybe some garden variety thunder and lightning in northern county... if that is what you are referencing fine ...
