NorthArlington101
You mean the Downtown DC one? Not sure it needs it quite yet. Looks interesting thoI meant the one crossing over in MD sorta near Fredrick. It looked like it was tightening up, but interaction with the line may kill it. It was almost looking like a supercell.EDIT: but there is rotation on the D.C. storm now so I'll claim to be psychic

terpsnation
Cell crossing the Potomac is about to need a tornado warning. I will preface this by saying that I know almost nothing about meteorology - but I'm looking at that cell from Courthouse overlooking the Potomac, and from my untrained eye there was obvious rotation. Absolutely phenomenal sight, as it rolled past I was like "Uhhhhh, that definitely looks like its going to be a tornado soon."

Eskimo Joe
Cell crossing the Potomac is about to need a tornado warning. Really meh on the SVR and lost and resemblance of a hail core and is getting absorbed into the main line. Kinda surprised there isn't the usual SVR on it though. 09-10 analogy
Can confirm a little hail in upper NW. A small projectile hit me in the forehead as I was running from my car to my front door. I'd been out trying to get a good view of it, but it's just a dark wall of cloud with not much CG. No rotation, as least as far as I could see. Don't think I've ever been hit with a "hailstone" before. Even if it was less than dimesize. Probably more like pea size. Sharp clearing to the south. Usually don't see that. I wonder what this cell looks like from afar. Probably pretty neat.

09-10 analogy
pretty mild as it passed though my neighborhood, but it has really blown up to my east--huge lightning strikes and house rumbling thunder. .45" of rain which is fine with me since we've been having problems with a leak in the family room. I hear ya. We have a skylight in the den that's not sealed, or something, and it drips during even modest rainfall. We put a dish under it but have to keep the dog away because she thinks it's her water dish.
