Kmlwx
I see, Kenny. Thanks! Taking it with a grain of salt for now It will probably look vastly different in a few hours. Fun to look at though (when it shows something good of course). I think we'll all get a pretty good soaking. I'm not even super sold for severe down here. We shall see. Interesting setup regardless. Kmlwx
Well the 06z run of the LWX ARW model pretty much shafts everyone north of DC. It doesn't even show heavy rain for most of Maryland. Storms pretty much fold around the Potomac without crossing.
Kmlwx
06z run of the LWX NMM on the other hand is much better. But the focus is certainly in the RIC to DC zone as Ian mentioned last night. Still gets most of us very nicely. Right on DC's doorstep at 02z. ETA: The HRRR continues to show a mini bow of sorts going through Central and Northern Maryland. Congrats mapgirl and Baltimore. But we all get in on the action to an extent.

EastCoast NPZ
Hope my .15" of rain on the way for today / tonight holds off until late afternoon. Have a roofer on the way to attempt to find (and hopefully fix) another leak in my roof that last night could not even hold up to my .10" shower. mappy
Seeing some sun and a few breaks in the clouds[/quoteWas sunny with blue skies when I left Parkton at 830. Quite cloudy and muggy in Pasadena.
Kmlwx
Satellite loops show some clearing making its way north. Looks like we should see some sun areawide unless more clouds build in.

NinjaWarrior2
12z 4K NAM unimpressive. Nothing like 12k NAM with 4-6" in Northern MD. HRRR is a central MD special.

Ian
NAM PWATs are off the charts pretty much. Not sure 0z sounding will capture peak but forecast verbatim is close to an all time record for that climo.
