sub-severe winds in southeast Howard County but still very gusty and amazing lightning and torrential rain.

and not that it matter at the moment, but SPC really should have gone with a red box here. They've red boxed us in far less impressive setups.

They did fine IMO, there's been nothing tornadic reported other then that Charles County cell, and there's no reports of damage coming in on scanner feeds. It is what they called it, a straight line wind event, with brief tornadoes possible.

Not much of anything except rain to speak of in that line.

 

Really not good for people in Arlington and Falls Church under the Flash Flood Warning. Another 0.5-1" with this line alone, plus the rest of Bill, adding on to the 1.33" I've already recorded.
