09-10 analogy Posted June 21, 2015 Share Posted June 21, 2015 Very neat shelf cloud with lots of rain and thunder, lightning but few ground strokes, no wind to speak of and the only hail -- such as it was -- was with the rogue cell that came through half-hour or so before this main line. But nothing even close to severe at least up here. Just when I say that, a tremendous CG close by. Not that that's technically severe but lots of ground strokes and concussive thunder, to me, makes a storm special. As is often the case, the best lightning is at the storm's tail end.
