wxeyeNH
Nice Pics. Not much action here, just got clipped by a cell that produced some heavy rain, no wind. That second pic eerily reminds me the 2003 Cedar Fire in SoCal when I lived there. Great shot of the sunset taken yesterday from Fenway Park. Epic picture!! radarman
Great shot of the sunset taken yesterday from Fenway Park. Epic picture!! Costiglione and O Brian were raving about it on the radio call and you can see why. Stunning, thank you for posting.

weatherwiz
WOW...just saw the PNS from OKX regarding the southern CT damage...90-95 mph straight-line winds is pretty damn impressive for this area. Typically we'll see 75-80 mph and an 85 mph now and then but once you get to 90+ that's pretty damn impressive territory.

eekuasepinniW
Is that legit?! I'd think if that dropped down in SE MA there would be a ton of photos of it. I don't recognize those kinds of trees. Not to mention the bare branches at the left, which could suggest this photo was taken in early spring or just a dead tree.

weatherwiz
Velocity scans were nuts, I saw a brief 100 pop up Wish I could have tracked more on the radar but I was really invested in that Litchfield cell. It was looking good for several scans but I'm wondering if outflow from the S CT line choked off inflow into the storm...it was looking like a supercell but just completely collapsed. weatherwiz
Yes it was like a rock dropped in a pond, rippled out.Check Ryan's blog I saw it! That's how I saw southern CT got creamed. I'm not upset about not wanting to go SW. My friend and I talked about it before we left but we wanted a TOR and at the time that cell heading into Litchfield was discrete had the best potential. Plus it's not like we've been in storms which produced wind damage or serous winds...granted nothing as strong as 90-95 mph but we went for the TOR
