michsnowfreak
If stratiform rain, temps in the upper 50s to low 60s, and northeast winds gusting to 35 mph plays out, it could be one of the chilliest, most raw late June days weve ever experienced. hoosierwx
2 inches of rain imby last night with radar estimates of up to 5 inches not very far away. That brings me up to 8 inches in the last 10 days with more to come today. Crazy June.

Gets a little blurry at that range I just put a tarp over my container garden - my tomatoes are already looking sad from being so wet. Since LAF low balls rainfall, I think we should do an over/under for your rain gauge. I'm setting it at 3.00" storm total. And I'll take the over. Hoosier
And more rain on the way right after this mess, although it's a different regime with less moisture available so not as much potential for excessive amounts. Of course, any amount is an issue at this point.

OHweather
Some of the hi-res models are trying to pick up on convection across north central and northeast Ohio late tonight into early Saturday on the nose of decent low-mid level theta-e advection and beneath good large scale ascent thanks to upper level divergence. With a few hundred J/KG of MUCAPE that could be possible. If that occurs things would get pretty bad around here I think. If we avoid widespread convection late tonight into early Saturday, a dry slot may save us from seeing the widespread, excessive totals that are possible and keep any flooding issues more minor. We shall see.
