Whipping the rain around, made me tell my girls to move to the lower level. Up to 1.50" of rain started at 0.26" this morning.
Kmlwx
Mega warning just issued lol. But the line is sort of consolidating I guess. Might have hedged for more of an east component than the warning suggests.

Kmlwx
Working in Greenbelt. Storm just moved in. Nothing severe, just heavy rain so far. Had the fringe of that storm. No warning on it. Just garden variety and looks weak on radar as well. Heavier stuff is well north for now.

Kmlwx
The NWS called you? I think I've heard of that before. Sometimes if they need ground truth they'll contact spotters they know are in that area.
Mrs.J
The NWS called you? Yes they did. First time ever. Wanted to know what I was seeing and if there were any downed trees in my immediate area. I am guessing when I signed up to be a storm spotter I must have checked something to say they could call me. Pinpointed my address and the fact that I was right in the middle of it. Pretty cool for this weather geek.
