janetjanet998
12z NAM seems to be more northwest with the tropical system and has flow overriding a stalled boundary If this pans out historic flooding possible over northern and central IL givin all the rain the past 10 days

Hoosier
12z NAM seems to be more northwest with the tropical system and has flow overriding a stalled boundary If this pans out historic flooding possible over northern and central IL givin all the rain the past 10 days Also notice the deepening of the surface low as it gets into our area. This is something that other models have been hinting at as the system potentially interacts/phases with additional energy.

janetjanet998
12 GFS slower and more south ...well ts not the NAM so it may be more correct may have trended a bit north then 0z
Hoosier
12z GGEM is a massive rain/flooding potential...adding up the individual frames, looks like a fairly widespread 4-7" (maybe locally higher?) and this does not include anything prior to the arrival of the tropical remnants. System gets into our area quicker on this run but not as quickly as the NAM.
