Storm delivered at home. Hail between nickel and quarter sized. A noticeable amount of green leaves laying around.

Gust front just blew through with gusts well above 30 mph.

Rumbling again...

IWX will likely be sending a survey team to Starke County today as pictures showing possible tornado damage have been sent in and there is another report of 5 acres of trees being knocked over.

IWX confirmed a tornado near North Judson.

To the north and south yesterday, to the north and south today... Though a cell did just fire about 2 miles north of me and provide an interesting light show.

Yeah, I was just going to say it's not a bad light show.

IT's pretty much been a non-stop rumble of thunder since I was in the shower...

Pretty impressive to take down all of those trees given that it was relatively weak.

I went out spotting again tonight just to see the storm, as we were not expecting any severe. As the shelf cloud passed overhead I noticed it beginning to roll. It developed a nice roll at least 4 miles long. There were several reports of rotation by the public in Huntington as it passed overhead.

One of my spotters snapped a pic of the shelf on the south edge of the line. It didn't appear to be rolling as intensely that far south. It was pretty cool. I've only seen about a half a dozen well formed roll clouds.
