I went out spotting again tonight just to see the storm, as we were not expecting any severe. As the shelf cloud passed overhead I noticed it beginning to roll. It developed a nice roll at least 4 miles long. There were several reports of rotation by the public in Huntington as it passed overhead.

One of my spotters snapped a pic of the shelf on the south edge of the line. It didn't appear to be rolling as intensely that far south. It was pretty cool. I've only seen about a half a dozen well formed roll clouds.

Nice pic. Caught one similar tonight at golf league, just north of Lebanon (Trophy Club GC). Storm skirted to the east of the course, but provided a nice photo op.

After the incredibly quiet May severe weather wise, made up for it with 10.5 hours combined of OT at LOT Sunday (6 hrs) and today (4.5 hrs). Had a feeling that today would produce and possibly end up being more of a slight risk day, but did not expect multiple golf ball sized hail reports. Cold midlevel temps and enough shear did the trick.
