EastCoast NPZ
Been about 73 hours since I've last seen the sun. Wonderful for June when it seems like the days are 23 hours long.
Deck Pic
Wait-- when did you move here? Are you working for LWX now? Weather post: That 4 F temp spread at IAD yesterday has got to be one of the lower ones on record, especially for June. 6/5/2009 64/

StudentOfClimatology
Something is seriously wrong when you prefer this sh*t to sunny and warm. Pretty much. We have some very interesting folk in here. smokeybandit
I'd prefer sunny and warm to Seattle/London spring like we've seen this week. But I'd take this over sunny and torching any day.
famartin
If I'm just recreating, sun is great, but if I'm doing hard labor, give me cool (but not too cool). Today was great for digging 10 holes for 6-foot arborvitae.
CandymanColumbusGA
Honestly, I'm A-okay with this weather! I spent 26 years of my life in Florida or Georgia. Sure, I know it can get hot as Hades and humid as all get our around here, but days like this aren't possible in Florida or Georgia. I made sure to get out and enjoy it, despite the spitting rain, because I know this isn't all that usual around here. Heck, we broke a record cool maximum temperature at Charlottesville Airport (CHO) the past two days.

dailylurker
It's ok to say it--we're all freaky in some way...some more than others...Yeah, I guess your right. While at work the other day, people were talking about how they hate thunderstorms. I was like "yup, sure hate thunderstorms. They really suck". I had to blend in. Didn't want to complete things lol. 58. Had some pretty heavy rain earlier.

Don't be a yes man, you will regret it later on. Marine airmass locked in only for 1 more day, mabye less for Blue Ridge west. No biggie, it did feel nice. dailylurker
After living down south for a while too, I completely agree. A little chilly for me, but nice nonetheless. Good sleeping weather. Nah, I couldn't do that. I was at work the other day and was pointing out the window and explaining shelf clouds to coworkers. Me talking about my love of weather that pi$$es people off is part of the package my office gets. Oh, my friends/family all know the extent of my obsession with weather. I'm the "what's the weather going to do today" guy. I guess it's personal for me. It's like a religion.

PrinceFrederickWx
Another brief heavy shower around 1am that looked on radar like it was just over Calvert (again). Updated rain totals: 6/1 - 1.27" 6/2 - 2.22" 6/3 - 0.32" 6/4 - 0.36" 6/5 - 0.17" Total - 4.34"
EastCoast NPZ
About 1.3" for me, and 1" of that come in an hour on Monday evening. This was not much of rain-maker for me (never is), but it's about the best 4-day stretch of summer weather I can remember. Working on 88 hours w/o seeing the sun. EastCoast NPZ
First peeks of sun out here. We did make it officially to the 88-hour mark though.. Now to see if I can extend my A/C-less streak to a full 4 days....
87storms
i don't mind the clouds if it's mild/warm out. 65 and cloudy dominates 45 degrees and cloudy aka winter. i'm ready for some sun, though. those wanting clouds all summer simply don't like summer, period. that's fine, just give me your pool passes.
