Kmlwx
Soooo many boundaries on radar. Pretty cool to watch something other than the typical single giant outflow we usually see.
NinjaWarrior2
Feel like a few might be surprised, sun is still out and 85 degrees here even with Thunder all around me. I wouldn't count out isolated 4-6" totals. These storms will be heavy lightning producers.

EastCoast NPZ
Splittsville. Passing north and south and died in the middle. Radar shows light green over me, but that's not hitting the ground. Not even enough to wet the ground. Just shoot me.
Harv_poor
Just got pummelled with rain and wind in Tysons, now still thundering but with blue skies covering the western one third of the sky.
MN Transplant
Just got pummelled with rain and wind in Tysons, now still thundering but with blue skies covering the western one third of the sky. That one just barely missed me to the north. Nothing in the tipping bucket.
Kmlwx
Helicopter just booked it towards the east over my house. Can't say I've ever seen a chopper fly over here with storms around.
Bob Chill
Takoma Park area looks to be under some torrential rain with that DC cell. If Ian was chasing heavy rain he would be sad right now.

Stormpc
It still has not rained at my house for almost 3 weeks other than a sprinkle or brief pavement covering shower. nw baltimore wx
I took the back home today from work through Patapsco Park and I was surprised to see how high and muddy the Patapsco River is in Woodlawn. It's not going to take a lot of rain upstream to cause some big problems later tonight. picked up .6 over night from the storms that moved through That's exactly how much I got last night too. Pouring here now. I'm not going out to check but from the back window, the rain gauge looks like it's already a quarter filled, and it's only been raining for about 15 minutes. Not even enough to wet the ground. Just shoot me. Lol. You really are difficult to please. I never wish bad weather on people, but I hope the rain gods toy with you a little bit over the next day or so. How long until you're complaining about it being too wet?
