osfan24
Seems like an awful lot of activity popping on the radar to the west for it still not even being mid-afternoon. Not expecting severe weather, but it seems likely that some thunderstorm activity will impact some of area come late afternoon.

At first glance I thought the KMTN reading was off with the dewpoint, but several nearby CWOP stations have dew point readings in the 75 - 77 degree range. StudentOfClimatology
12Z Euro is a furnace run, 9 out of the next 10 days are 90+ in DC, several 95+ days, and no end in sight out to day 10.
WVclimo
Hit 94 for the second day in a row here. Now a thunder shower is knocking the temp back. Wind gust to 38 with a couple loud thunder claps and some decent close lightning bolts.
osfan24
Looks like no individual cells are going to form now. Just the consolidated line pushing toward the area. It looks like the two heaviest parts of the line might split most of the Baltimore area.
PrinceFrederickWx
Record high at BWI is 96 and they only have 93 for some hourly obs. Watch- the high will probably end up being 95 in an intra-hour reading. How lame- if we're gonna do heat we may as well just torcher up to 100+ degrees or at least set a record. StudentOfClimatology
Looks like DC has racked up ten 90+ days on the year so far, with plenty more to come over the next 2-3 weeks. That said, how did we survive 2010-2012? I'm trying to remember what those 100/75 days felt like.
