NORTHWESTERN CALHOUN COUNTY IN CENTRAL SOUTH CAROLINA...
NORTHEASTERN AIKEN COUNTY IN CENTRAL SOUTH CAROLINA...
LEXINGTON COUNTY IN CENTRAL SOUTH CAROLINA...
FAIRFIELD COUNTY IN CENTRAL SOUTH CAROLINA...
KERSHAW COUNTY IN CENTRAL SOUTH CAROLINA...
RICHLAND COUNTY IN CENTRAL SOUTH CAROLINA...

* UNTIL 300 PM EDT

* AT 204 PM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS...SOME OF
WHICH WERE LIKELY SEVERE WITH WIND GUSTS OF 40 TO 60 MPH. THE
STORMS EXTENDED FROM SOUTHERN LEXINGTON COUNTY NORTHWARD INTO
FAIRFIELD AND KERSHAW COUNTIES. MOVEMENT WAS NORTHEAST NEAR 15 MPH.

* LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
WINNSBORO AND CAMDEN.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL...
DEADLY LIGHTNING AND VERY HEAVY RAIN. FOR YOUR PROTECTION...MOVE TO
AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF YOUR HOME OR BUSINESS. HEAVY
RAINS FLOOD ROADS QUICKLY SO DO NOT DRIVE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER
COVERS THE ROAD.

AT 358 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
STRONG THUNDERSTORM OVER LILLINGTON...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 40 MPH.
ANOTHER THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED BETWEEN APEX AND RALEIGH... MOVING
NORTHEAST AT 40 MPH.

OCCASIONAL LIGHTNING AND GUSTY WIND TO 40 MPH WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH
THESE STORMS.

LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE... RALEIGH...CARY...LILLINGTON...WAKE
FOREST...GARNER...FUQUAY-VARINA... CLAYTON...ANGIER AND APEX.

TAKE SHELTER INDOORS UNTIL THUNDER IS NOT HEARD FOR 20 TO 30 MINUTES

There wasn't supposed to be anything more than widely scattered showers and thunderstorms. I'm not quite sure what you're expecting, Brick. The SWS you posted said "WILL BE POSSIBLE", not likely, not probable, but possible. Rumbles of thunder, some lightning, sometimes an outflow gustiness, followed by light rain is pretty much the norm in your average thunderstorm.

Just saying it has been very boring this year when it comes to the storms so far. Been very few and only one or two times have they been strong to severe. It has just been very unusual to have so few storms, especially compared to the last 5 years.

 

Over and over and over again.  Can you at least try and change the wording once and a while.
