Yet again, Atlanta managed to not hit 90. That's at least the 5th time in the last month Atlanta has reached 89. Maybe tomorrow will finally break 90.

 

Be thankful. A 1,000 ft elevation in the SE US is a good thing for a major SE city. :)

The sharks are going crazy off the NC coast. Two major attacks at Oak Island today. A teenage boy and girl attacked within hours, both losing limbs. This after an attack a couple of days ago not too far away.

Don't worry, we are still winning.  Over 5000 sharks were caught and killed off the coast during the same period.

That humidity would be brutal being so close to the water(..if that was true). I've been on the SC coast during heat waves (Huntington Beach). The temp stays a little lower (than inland areas) but the dew points can run in the low 80s. Sounds like a road trip is in order.
