michsnowfreak
Horrible forecast bust all around today, in terms of temps, heavy/flooding rains and severe weather potential... Had a TRACE of rain today. LOL
dmc76
Interesting little thing in north of Detroit. Looks like a hurricane and is rotating around the middle Sent from my iPhone Lol I drove right through that last night. Going from Bay City to Marine City at that time. It was uneventful. Powerball
I didn't even get that, massive bust. Good chance I don't see a drop today or tonight. You and michsnowfreak may still get something from that stuff that has developed in SW Michigan along/south of I-94. Should see zilch here. Yeah I think the city south should catch something, some garden variety storms out to the west. Nothing major but good for the lawns.
Geos
0.78" of rain today in the last 30 hours or so. Not flood headline worthy, but a decent rain. Intra hour high of 61°.
bowtie`
Dewpoint of 73 in LAF, highest so far this year. IND just has to top LAF by one degree each and every day it seems.
Hoosier
ECMWF sure is bullish with that southeast ridge in the medium/long range.

cyclone77
Surprised to see these elevated storms pop and move in. Just had a few heavy downpours depositing another 0.33". Getting closer to the 4" mark for June, with all of that since June 7th.
stormtrackertf
Yeah, I jinxed it. Ended up getting a soaker.
SchaumburgStormer
Got woken up by the sound of heavy rain hitting the front windows. Wasn't expecting much overnight, nice soaker. I had fertilized the lawn Thursday, I'd say it got nicely watered in. it's going to be a jungle before I will be able to mow again.
hawkeye_wx
Another un-June day today with clouds, drizzle and light rain, and temp in the 60s. Models have been shifting the heavier rain this weekend southeast of my area, which isn't a bad thing given all the rain we got a couple days ago. What my garden needs is sun and dry weather for a few days.

Thought this was pretty cool actually. I love those time lapses. Is that just off of your dash cam? If so, I'd like to try it with mine, but I'm a technological Neanderthal. I've caught some storm videos recently that I feel would be awesome to view in time lapse.

Just turn it on and it takes care of itself. That way I can concentrate on stills. If you have a regular video camera there's mounts you can buy for those as well and mount that to either your dash or windshield. 0.43" since midnight plus yesterday's 1.56" gave us almost 2" since early yesterday morning. Now up to 5.49" for June.

cyclone77
Today turned out to be pretty quiet, and pretty warm and humid. 84/70 with barely a breath of wind. Took advantage of the break in the rains and got the lawn taken care of.
weatherbo
low clouds and mist all day. High was 64. at the mid month point, the average low here has been 42 and the average high 65. Have only hit 70 three times. still lush and green tho. took this pic coming down my road today.
SchaumburgStormer
Took advantage of the break in the rains and got the lawn taken care of. +1 Worried that if I didn't do it today, I would have a full blown jungle by Friday
Geos
Everything is growing like mad this month. Probably will cut the grass on Tuesday when there's supposed to be a break in the rain. I'm constantly pulling up weeds in the garden. Made it to 81° today. A slight east wind is lowering the temp and humidity a bit out there now. Mosquitoes are pretty numerous now... stormtrackertf
It's like a swamp in my back yard tonight. 74 degrees at midnight, dew point at 71, everything still drenched, no breeze whatsoever, water ponded all over. Bugs everywhere. This must be what it's like to live in Louisiana.
