Not sure if I should be posting this here or in the complaint thread, but boy, does it look awful in the long-term. Sub 60° highs with bouts of rain.

For some reason I feel that ridge is going to stay parked over the western CONUS forever lol

It's only gonna be in the 60s sat. Other than that im seeing upper 70s??

Yep, certainly an awful start to summer so far (for those who enjoy Summer-like weather that is).

Heaven forbid we have to look forward to a 1992 or 2009 redux, but trends so far (excessive rainfall to the SW, below average lake water temps, persistent -NAO blocking, etc.) aren't encouraging.

If the -NAO blocking ever relaxes and the PV in Canada is finally displaced further NW, we may be able to salvage a 2010 redux at best. But that's not looking likely.

I don't know what's growing faster, the corn or the grass. Corn around here is already 5-6ft high. So much for knee high by 4th of July lol. That saying was probably introduced before this frankencorn they've produced that grows up to 15ft high.

Yeah I've noticed the same. Can't remember the last time in June it was already taller than me. There are a few dead spots however due to ponding in the fields

Thanks for that Tim. There are actually quite a few areas within a few miles of the airport that are already well into double digits, and from the looks of current radar, we are going to inch closer (no pun intended) to the all-time wettest month.

Not a problem. :)

A little closer to home, for the next couple of days anyways, here's the wettest Junes on record for the West Lafayette COOP. I've lived here for 3 of them.

1) 11.70" in 1958

2) 11.37" in 1902

3) 9.90" in 2010

4) 9.89" in 2004

5) 9.82" in 1928

6) 8.41" in 1998

7) 8.12" in 2015 (thru this morning)

12.71" in May 1943 is the wettest month on record.
