How many 90s does NYC average in June? 2? Haven't had a single one this year..

these are all the months 90 degree days from my summer stats post...there was none last June...the record is 11 in 1943...10 in 1966...

2004 was awful

June 90s arent as common as the mind thinks

July and August are the months with the most 90 degree days as expected...1993 had 30 90 degree days  in that period while 1996, 2000, and 2004 had only one...

The further SW you go over NJ the warmer your departures are so far due to less marine influence.

Keeps with the theme of warmest departures this coming week over the mid-Atlantic.

Clouds pushing into NWNJ.  Overall in/out of clouds much of the day.  Looks like 11th weekend of the warm season that was overall very nice out.  Probably 18 or 19 of 23 weekend Days (including mermorial day) that were nice

Tracking the warm front

 

 

That warm front will be good news for needed heavy potential early Monday and again on Thursday. We'll see if the remnants

of the Texas tropical system can track far enough NE to affect the area later on.

yes, another Monday rain event.  for folks that have weekends off, it's been a great stretch
