IsentropicLift
12z GFS is pretty stormy the next seven days. Even shows an interesting scenario next Monday where the tropical system gets partially captured by the mid-west trough.

nzucker
Only had a high of 55F this afternoon in Dobbs Ferry...it was still 60F at midnight so that's the official high, but quite chilly today. What a way to start June after incessant warmth in May!

ict1523
Fun fact, with a high of 58 and a low of 52, and an average for June 1st of 55 degrees, this makes it NYC's coolest day since April 26th.
SnoSki14
Completely different feel than May, it's like we reversed back towards mid April. With several days of onshore flow expected, we'll see some strong negative departures. What a difference in the modeling. Could June actually end up below average? donsutherland1
This morning's 50° reading at Central Park is New York City's coolest June temperature since the mercury fell to 50° on June 1, 2009.
nzucker
Down to 48F here in Dobbs Ferry. Very cool for June especially with no radiation cooling. NWS forecasts were way off with highs in the mid to upper 60s for today and yesterday. Afternoon high was 55F yesterday and can't imagine much higher today. Allsnow
I'm remeber in 2009 we had high heat in May then we never saw 90 again as the summer went on to be cool and wet. That was a El Niño year.

Isotherm
Whats your storm total down that way? Still adding up with moderate-hvy rain now. I'm up to 1.11" for the event. Pretty paltry compared to elsewhere. Missed to the south Sunday and to the north yesterday.
