IsentropicLift
Yes look at the storms firing south of the backdoor front in south jersey. In point beach we are socked in with 50s and fog. 15 miles south of here different story. We will likely see plenty of lightning and heavy rain here because of the proximity to the front. It's the same story as Winter. People look at the radar and start calling bust instead of being patient.
IsentropicLift
The radar should completely fill in tonight as advertised, with an almost fire hose type feature sliding northeast which has been modeled to occur for five days.

We just had one of the warmest and driest Mays on record (last wet day doesn't count). I think we could survive with a few cooler, cloudier days. This weather is actually a nice relief and I can finally open my windows.

Cfa
brings back memories of the horrid June of 2009 It really does, thankfully it's only for a day (or two?). We just had one of the warmest and driest Mays on record (last wet day doesn't count). I think we could survive with a few cooler, cloudier days. This weather is actually a nice relief and I can finally open my windows. Exactly, which makes today even more uncomfortable. It's June, my breath shouldn't be visible outside. One cool cloudy day is enough imo, I'm glad we're getting it out of the way early on lol. If we don't suffer marginal heat stroke every day until September 1, our summer will be spoiled. There's simply no substitute for sitting in my office while it's hot and sunny outside. None. Misting my way to 0.6". No one said anything about heat, just pointing out the (obvious) fact that today's a horrible day by June standards. This forum would be in shambles if it was 75-80 degrees on December 1st, especially if it was preceded by a near-record cold/snowy November. IsentropicLift
The Euro had all of that convection down in Maryland raining itself out over E PA and NNJ late tonight. I think it's going to end up being too far NW based on current radar trends and the fact that the 18z RGEM shifted southeast.

IsentropicLift
Looks like it is actually trying to consolidate West of Philly and drift North some. That's where the Euro and GGEM had it. If so, it's going to be a very wet evening.
