JC-CT
we joke, pretty rural but most who live there work in the HFD Manchester metropolis, hence a suburbI thought an exurb was a commuter town

weatherwiz
Thank you! Best shelf we have had in 2 summers. It's always great when some good action moves through VT b/c there is so much land to get some great photo opportunities. I especially love the last picture of the side shot...especially b/c you can see the rain shaft just behind the shelf
eekuasepinniW
Lightning visible from two storms now... the cell way up along the VT/NH border at i93 is getting pretty active. Seems sooo much closer. Some unexpectedly impressive bolts shooting out the side and down to ground.

eekuasepinniW
My evening was going great until I had to follow this little storm and be disappointed. I see a pink pixel now. Has the super-res radar always updated every two minutes? It's almost too often... I can't look away. There's a svr wx scanning strategy now that updates the low level scan every 2 min or so. It's quite handy for tornadoes and such.

Quincy
BOX talking about big severe potential Sunday with spinners in the AM and an EML.Interesting The solution advertised on the 06z NAM would be marginally supportive for low-end severe. The GFS was more lackluster with awfully meager shear/wind fields.
