* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...
  NORTHWESTERN HAMPSHIRE COUNTY IN WESTERN MASSACHUSETTS...
  FRANKLIN COUNTY IN WESTERN MASSACHUSETTS...

* UNTIL 815 PM EDT

* AT 708 PM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF SEVERE
  THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING QUARTER SIZE HAIL AND DAMAGING
  WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH. THESE STORMS WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE
  EXTENDING FROM NEAR NORTH ADAMS TO JUST NORTH OF PITTSFIELD...AND
  WAS MOVING EAST AT 45 MPH.

  SKYWARN SPOTTERS REPORTED A TREE DOWN IN CHESHIRE MASSACHUSETTS.
  TORRENTIAL RAINFALL OF UP TO 2 INCHES PER HOUR AND FREQUENT
  DANGEROUS CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING ACCOMPANY THESE STORMS.

  GREENFIELD...ORANGE...DEERFIELD...MONROE...MONTAGUE...SUNDERLAND...
  NORTHFIELD...WILLIAMSBURG...BERNARDSTON...BUCKLAND...CONWAY...

Yesterday afternoon/evening had a good show, well better than garden variety for here. 2.00" of rain in 25 minutes. Multiple flash's the ones that are instantaneous with the crackle (real close suckas) Electricity went out three times from the discharge and surge on the grid. Had a few gusts around 40-50.

The storm was not warned.

 

The National Guard would have been called out in CT. LOL
