Damage In Tolland
Drier air advecting southwestward. That's why Western New England has best chance of a scatteted pop up storm later.Lol.. What? BOS is 68. Orh is always lower than surrounding obs. It's tossed

CT Valley Snowman
Lol.. What? BOS is 68. Orh is always lower than surrounding obs. It's tossed BOS is down to 65. LWM and all of NE MA is in the 50's. It's happening. You have never heard of cooler air advecting into higher elevations a bit quicker? BOS is an urban pit with lots of water around. powderfreak
How is it advection west with a stalled boundary that starts retreating NE later today? You know how this works don't you with mixing? In the morning, dews are higher and temps are lower. Then as we head into the afternoon, and the atmosphere becomes more well mixed...the temperatures go up and the dews go down. ORH is actually one of the more humid spots right now in NCentral and NE Mass. Its just mixing out from the dews earlier this morning.

Nothing but dry air rest of the day. I'm wrong Man you are a drama queen, lol. You said ORH's dews are wrong and need to be tossed. If you look at the regional picture, the dews are right in line between the 50s in NE Mass and the mid to upper 60s from BDL southwest.
Damage In Tolland
Why don't you take one of your much-enjoyed (by us) sabbaticals.Dews at BDL should be crashing into the 50's this afternoon with the rush of dry air. What time can we expect it?
CoastalWx
Drier air is advecting from the northeast. However wind off water can create shallow moisture pooling and higher dews near water.
dendrite
How is it advection west with a stalled boundary that starts retreating NE later today? There's a weak sfc high sitting over ME. There's some weak low level E-NE flow draining in the lower dews. In that map I posted most of ME is into the upper 40s to mid 50s. Don't worry...your dews will build back in soon. I'd like to get the PAC NW trough into the Rockies. I feel like we run the risk of getting the EML cut off and shunted southeast, off to our west. But, it's close by on the GFS so who knows.
