I'll need to do some investigating. 2.42" was recorded. Buy one of the Stratus Rain Gauges as a backup (the CoCoRAHS recommended ones). They are like $30 or so I think when I bought mine. Bring a toothpick outside and do a bird poop check. Usually that isn't a problem during rain, but if you had a lull maybe it was dry enough for a clogging.
