Indystorm
The next few days continue the period of active weather. Have at it. Tornado watch currently issued for most of Arkansas with some intense tornadoes expected. Tor warnings for rotation already issued. Watch forthcoming for much of central MO. JoMo
Appears a brief tornado touched down near Lowry City/Osceola, MO. earlier today. NWS Springfield requested pics from the area and it looks like some barns and trees were destroyed, so they are sending a survey team and made mention that it was probably a tornado. It's very strange for this area to get brief spin-up tornadoes that you see with tropical-type systems like this. Our 'usual' mode is QLCS with spin-ups or supercells, so it's very strange to see what looks like a moderate shower on radar tornado warned. downeastnc
Radar presentation is indeed impressive. Was looking really good, they are moving now but the latest scan shows it tightening up so it should pop another soon and they will have a good view of it.... downeastnc
Lamar tornado On google earth there were houses/neighborhoods etc about where it crossed the highway so I imagine damage reports will be out soon and if it doesn't get north fast enough Granada could be impacted. Buckeye05
This was taken near Plains a few minutes ago. Between this and how wide the actual GTG was on velocity, I think it's safe to call it a wedge.

andyhb
Storm report on it says wedge tornado, but who knows.
