jojo762
Jim Cantore on TWC sounding like Karl Rove during the 2012 presidential elections. "There's still a chance." (Referring to SW KS/NW KS) He stated that High-Res models "light the area up later tonight" and said that the lone tornado warning in north central KS was just the beginning. With that said the storm south of DDC just went TOR WARNED. EDIT: right when I posted this... Three tornado warning in progress in W KS.
Superstorm93
Although we did have a fatality today, things wound up being much more tame than we had originally thought they would be 3-4 days ago (as of 9pm) Another season, and another close call with a chaser being irresponsible... geddyweather
When will chasers learn? My guess is never. When you have one of nature's most unpredictable phenomenon, combined with people pursuing (who sometimes may not be the smartest), these things can happen. Sounds like this guy simply decided to get to close. Thankfully he's ok, but we do NOT need another El Reno incident where someone gets killed
