SmokeEater
Why haven't they become more classical supercells yet? The net trend to me seems to be from classical to HP. I've tried to be patient, but this day just isn't really evolving much differently from what I expected (in terms of few or no visible tornadoes, other than in CO, and no long-lived events). You've tried to be patient? One dead, one critical near Cisco per FD. Just stop now....

I don't know about that, it's moving NE, at this rate, it may go through the south side of the metroplex. Unless it turns right. But its gonna take a while. rolltide_130
The original Eastland County storm in Erath County now looks like it's getting ready to get nasty again. Looks like it's escaped the flanking line and got some distance on the cell that kept overrunning the inflow. Will be interesting to see how this goes. thewxmann
Gonna head well south of Fort Worth, though. Not necessarily, the H7 flow backs with eastward extent and the LLJ will ramp up. Storm motions could very well transition more ENE-NE with time. That said with all the backbuilding and slow crawling the supercells might not even be close for another couple of hours. Indystorm
I do think the metroplex on south needs to be on guard for these next few hours just to play it safe. LLJ often has storm motion surprises at night. Remember Greensburg?
