There's nothing "comfortable" about 45 degree weather in May. At least in my opinion.

LOL.  I couldn't imagine anything more comfortable than 45F morning lows and upper 60s highs.  Not to mention it's pretty close to normal for the date.

Don't worry, very soon you'll get your wish of never-ending 75F lows and 94 / 75 afternoons.

We need rain badly so I got all excited when I saw that, but then I noticed it was the GFS, and, well, it has to do with liquid falling from the sky and basic weather patterns so you can send that output off into the GFS fail bin.

Yeah, there is as much chance of me seeing 2" of rain as it is seeing 2" of snow.

Dry as a bone here on the Eastern Shore. Grass is already dead and fields aren't looking good. We need rain.

This has been a total repeat of last May IMBY, blowtorch (for the most part), no rain again and the grass is all burned up. I love how we got like 40 feet of rain here in December and January but when it actually matters (i.e. May) its nowhere to be found. Hopefully I'll get something out of that line later tonight.

The wife and I were up at Catoctin Mt. park...had a great day hiking around until we heard the thunder on the ridge to the west.  Got chased off the mountain but never saw much of any rain.  Definitely will have to get a MD trout permit for the year and fly fish the falls.
