Snowless in Carrollton
It seems like we go from one extreme to the other. We had the wettest April in over 35 years and now we may go 2 weeks without rain.

That's not true unless you only care about wintry precip. It could be much warmer. How did you survive by the way? I'm quite impressed with your durability. Keep up the good work. I'm quite impressed with your durability. Keep up the good work. Winter 2011-12 was much more enjoyable than Winter 2014-15 for me. If it's not going to snow, it might as well be comfortable outside. I hate wasted cold air. Might as well live in Miami. They had as much snow as we had last winter.
GaStorm
Anyone see this update? I would imagine this will translate into colder winters soon. Guess we will see. http://vencoreweather.com/2015/04/30/845-am-the-sun-is-now-virtually-blank-during-the-weakest-solar-cycle-in-more-than-a-century/

Damn thing might be over Bermuda on 0z for all we know.

JoshM
0z GFS and NAM keep the low meandering off the coast of SC/GA for days and days Once it makes it to shore it stalls over Waycross, lookout metal for the drizzle storm of 2015!
JoshM
Well according to our newest BS from the 12z GFS, the LP can't really go anywhere but inland with HP over the GOM and in the Atlantic.

WxBlue
Only took 3 miles of move to change the town of residency from Clayton to Garner even though I still live several miles from both towns in Johnston County. The plan for my parents is to stay here for several months until my new house is built in northern part of this county close to Zebulon. Thankfully, I was spared of packing while still in Asheville this past month
goldman75
The school itself is fantastic. I graduated from there with a degree in radiology. But I was also a local and the beach life was nothing special. If you aren't from a beach type location, I could see it being hard to resist feeling on vacation constantly.
