Looks pea sized to me!? There's no reference size? A hand ? An actual quarter or golfball!? Rookie! Was that the first hail ever in Waycross?

Yeah. First ever hail for most here lol. The one we had in 2011 was at like 5am. No one saw it except SPC and whoever reported it. That morning was when every county in GA had at least a severe thunderstorm warning or tornado warning with that squall line.

People on the west side of town were "like what storm and what hail"?

Big temperature differences in our area. Raleigh is in the 60s while its in the low 90s just to the east and south.

Well that big line of storms fell apart right before it got to us. Got only .05" from it but it did drop the temps down. Currently at 72, dew point of 69.

Wow that's pretty bad, I had 1.10" in the gauge when I got home putting me at 5" IMBY for the month, at work I would put the total closer to 2". Radar sure looked like New Bern was gonna get thumped but it did fizzle out some.....

This evening was near perfect for a very enjoyable and comfy walk on the northside of ATL. The temp. was 68-9 with a refreshingly steady breeze. The dewpoint was in the low 50's. Skies were PC. It doesn't get much better than that in late May! So, I consider this a very pleasant bonus. Looking forward to round two tomorrow.
