dryslot
Wish the BBR station was around when the Van Buren record was set. They crush VB regularly. I bet they would have beat out Van Buren then as well

tamarack
Decent TS coming thru here now Obviously this action stayed south of my place. (We were in hot hot central NJ Wed-Sat.) My 4-day catch while away was 0.01" plus a Japanese beetle. Might make a run at my season high (85, back in May) today.

eyewall
94 at BTV which ties the all time September record I believe. It is pretty much hell in my apartment right now.

Ties today's record high. I thought at least 98F was the September record.

tamarack
Topped out at 83, so May 27 retains its warmest-day-of-year status. Still a warm day for a week into met autumn, and it barely got under 70 overnight.
powderfreak
Clouds and some precip last night kept temps really warm, as 69F was the low at home, though MVL looks like it only got to 71F. I was surprised to find 0.28" in the rain gauge this morning...the first rainfall over a tenth of an inch in quite a while. It looks like north of here though there was a band of heavier rain across NNY and NVT...some amounts over 1".

powderfreak
Thunder and lightning just ended here, along with some strong downpours. Was surprised to find a solid four tenths of an inch in the bucket with rain still falling.

eekuasepinniW
Amazing lightning on that cell over squam lake. It's all confined to a small area and the flashes outline the shape of the anvil. Also- there are lots of tiny "sparks" way up at the very top. Looks like touching a doorknob in the dark and getting a static shock. Never seen anything like it before.
eekuasepinniW
And just like that, all the lightning suddenly stopped. Rip storm.
