A-L-E-K
When i took the dog out this morning it was like hitting a wall. My place was mild and still with the smell of spring in the air, as i crossed the park towards the lake it was like passing into a walk-in cooler, temps dropped 5-10 degrees in a couple feet and the air even smelled different. When i headed back to the apartment, the boundary hadn't moved a bit. point raised to 83...probably gonna need to be within 50' of the water for cooling today. cyclone77
85 today here and at MLI. Breeze made it feel pretty nice. AC crapped out at work, so we've been without that the past few days. Luckily a new one will be getting installed within a week or two. Glad that didn't happen in July.

hawkeye_wx
We got up to near 80, but clouds and rain kept us lower than areas farther east. It has rained here every day since last Saturday. Late this afternoon a potent cell moved over me and produced strong wind and heavy rain. The 0.40" from this storm brings my week total to 2.02". Sunday could be pretty active over here in Iowa. IWXwx
86° in my point today and we could actually squeeze out an 88°. Mid July weather FWA hit 86°, but my Davis recorded 88°. We'll call it a draw. FWA missed the record by one degree. It was also 86° last year on this date.

stormtrackertf
Managed 82 at DTW today with a southeast wind. Tomorrow things should kick southwesterly, it'll be interesting to see if we can break 85 and get within the ballpark of the record for the day...which was set just last year with 87. Chicago WX
85 at LAF. Tim no likey. Real rough day with the dewpoint falling from the mid 50's to the mid 40's this evening. This is child's play. Check back with me when it's 90˚/78˚.

stormtrackertf
Don't forget..this thing has a cold side: The black hills, always some of the first and last folks to get big snows. Probably an interesting place to live considering they can be in the 80's and 90's a day before getting a legit snowstorm.
BuffaloWeather
There is still snow from the mid November storm here. They took all of the snow into one pile and its still living despite 80 degrees and sun. They are projecting it to melt by July. http://www.buffalonews.com/city-region/brutal-winter-just-wont-go-away-20150507
Chitown Storm
Congrats on the much needed rain. Yeah, much needed indeed. Was beginning to wonder if there was a lid over MSP. Trees and shrubs going fine, but the grass looked like junk before tonight.
