Yeah i didn't see that. But still for that hour its a bit cool

Almost looks like a back door setup with a lot of warmth in Western PA/OH.   The good news is that it's probably wrong at this point, but fun to look at.    Maybe it will have rained by then?  LOL

The strong ridge is really dominating our pattern. It continues into early next week

with a brief relaxation WED-FRI only to return again by next weekend and beyond.

That NW downslope flow WED-FRI may come with some very low humidity to really

dry things out further. Maybe another red flag potential few days.

The strong ridge is really dominating our pattern. It continues into early next week

with a brief relaxation later in the week before a strong reload which carries through

until day 15 on the ensembles.

Wow if that verifies we're looking at a possible TOP 5 warmest May and may a run for one of the driest.

Nothing extreme is ever very good in any direction because the pattern usually ends up doing a complete reversal at some point. So a warm, dry Spring and or early Summer could end up becoming a wet, cool second half of Summer, Fall, and then drier Winter. Of course it's impossible to predict when these sort of things are going to happen, but overall nature likes to be balanced. You could argue that this is simply making up for the excessive wet stretch that we had from 2009-2012.

85/55... miserable freaking weather for the first ~week of May. Just takes all the energy and motivation out of you.

This is the BEST weather. Makes me feel alive, im able to be out working with out all kinds of extra gear. I love it!!

Light showes moving south to north thru CNJ.  Clearly skies brightening up now though.  Especially to the south where it looks like the sun is poking through SNJ

Managed to pick up 0.03" rain here with the drizzle...first measurable in 17 days, just enough to smear all the pollen on the cars.
