bluewave
Very low dewpoints and RH coming back. Could see dewpoints around freezing on Saturday with highs near 70 yielding a RH under 25%.

Juliancolton
Mostly sunny now with some cumulus congestus on the horizon. None of these cells have really been able to get going tho... MLLRs are pretty pitiful.

HRRR still has some action NYC and north, but it's going to have to get going soon to verify

bluewave
Sprinkles cancel. The bore goes on. The 12z Euro doesn't show much more than some scattered convection chances over the next 10 days. Even though the strong ridge over the GL flattened out, most of the convection remains focused further south and west with the STJ and developing El Nino. SnoSki14
We haven't seen much rain but it was enough to hold things over for a while. Looking forward to the comfortable days before the heat and humidity really kick in.
Juliancolton
Actually... got a visual on some pretty vigorous updrafts in that severe-warned storm to my north. Hardly worth the trip, but I suppose it caught an area that cleared out relatively early. Hearing a bit of rumbling as well.

IsentropicLift
I wonder why the front down this way is so dry. We have plenty of instability in place.

Cfa
Of course the part of the line that would've reached here dies out before it even got to the CT coast. Maybe Montauk will get lucky.

gravitylover
I got a really good soaker out of that last night. We were out mt biking when the sky lit up around 9:30 so we split. Got home a few minutes later and Boom, lightning/thunder and torrential downpours for the next 15 minutes.

Brian5671
Few drops of rain here and a nice lightning show off to the north, but the HRRR and other models were too far south with the convection.
