At least NYC was able to get .32 with the storms. Hopefully, it gets enough rain over the

remainder of May to break out of the top ten driest list. Normal for May is 4.19.

Lots of clouds today.  But should see only scattered storms. id say of the  6 weekends back to April 11 10 of the 12 days were dry and sunny.  Memorial Day weekend so far on guidance looks dry and near normal Fr-Sat -- warming sunday and memorial day.

According to the latest guidance (ECM most aggressive) on/around Memorial Day and through about May 27/28 EC heights are way up as the SE ridge pumps more warmth into the area.  Suspect the next shot at 90s comes that week.  May in line for a +3 - +4 finish for the major sites.
