cstrunk
Both the NAM 4KM and HRRR models seem to think the area just southeast of Dallas could get interesting in a few hours. We have temperature's in the low to mid-70's and gusty east winds in Tyler. If I were chasing I would target Ennis, TX.
huronicane
That's a whole lot of "Large and Extremely Dangerous" tornadoes.
Chinook
Wow, that's amazing that all the tornadoes were EF-0!

Indystorm
Wow, that's amazing that all the tornadoes were EF-0! Just underscores what I have consistently read that you cannot judge EF strength by the appearance of the storm.
David Reimer
The EF-scale is a good way to rate the DAMAGE produced by tornadoes - not how strong the tornadoes became themselves over open fields. Make no mistake that there would have been damage higher than EF-0 had some of the Johnson county tornadoes moved into a heavily populated area. I mean the RFD itself would produce significant damage.
Quincy
What happened to the reported tornado near Cross Plains, between about 2:40 and 2:50 p.m. on the 26th? The NWS and local PD reported the tornado, but I never saw anything in the final storm summaries. Maybe there just wasn't any damage. I caught a glimpse of a funnel cloud dropping down, but wasn't in an area to get a clear picture of it actually touching down.
