Turtle
Hello gang. Visiting from the New England forum to let you know that I will be flying down on Sunday to attend the NOAA Satellite Conference in Greenbelt, hosted by NOAA and NASA, and a bunch of other satellite entities. I'm really excited to be heading down, especially since I haven't been down there in quite a while. Anybody from this forum going? Sounds like it will be fantastic, especially since we are getting close to launching GOES-R (March 2016). PM me if you are going and would like to meet up! --Turtle (AKA Eleanor -- NWS BOX)

Kevin Shaw
Hi Turtle, I got your tweet on this also. I am not a very good tweeter, would prefer to respond here. Next week is my last week of work at NOAA, 41 years and 2+ months of time working at NOAA. My retirement luncheon is on Thursday, April 30 in Silver Spring. I figure you will be busy at the conference but just thought I would mention it. I also will be quite busy wrapping up my career, if only the conference had been a week later when I will be retired! Have a great conference and stay in touch! Walrus
Kevin Shaw
Thanks Eleanor. I am looking forward to my retirement. Conference is full, I checked earlier in the week. No room at the inn. I doubt i would find a week's worth of interest there for me, Good luck, have a great conference, and keep in touch! And say hey to Dean when you get back.
